Jammu: In a major success against nefarious designs of Pakistan to make trained terrorists infiltrate into the Indian territory, the Indian Army on Sunday shot dead two Pakistani terrorists along the Line of Control in the Jammu region.

Terrorists hiding for an ambush along the Line of Control in Sunderbani Sector attacked a patrolling party of the Army at around 1:45 PM. Indian Army jawans retaliated to this action of the Pakistani Border Action Team (BAT), gunning down two terrorists.

The bodies of the killed terrorists have been recovered. The identities of the two are being ascertained. A huge cache of arms and ammunition, including AK-47 rifles, have been recovered from the two terrorists.

In this Pakistani BAT action, three Indian Army jawans have laid down their lives in the line of duty while two other jawans have sustained serious injuries in the fierce encounter. The injured soldiers have been moved to the Udhampur Command Hospital, Udhampur, for treatment.
