A list of terror commanders, accessed by MyNation, reveals how security forces are charting out a major crackdown on these kingpins
Kashmir: To counter terrorism in Kashmir, security agencies have been proactively targeting top terror commanders operating in the Valley.
These top commanders of terror outfits including Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Toiba, Al Badr and Ansaar Gazwat-ul-Hind have been in the eye of the security forces for a long time. They have been pushing the local youths to the path of terrorism by provoking religious sentiments.
A hit list of terror commanders, accessed by MyNation, reveals how security forces are charting out a major crackdown on these terror kingpins.
This list includes top 17 terror commanders who are at the hit list of security forces and will be knocked down very soon.
Riyaz Naikoo of Hizbul Mujahideen who is operating in Kashmir Valley since 2010 is A++ rated terrorist. Among others from terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen are Dr Saifullah (district commander, Srinagar, who is active from 2014), Zeenat-ul-Islam (district commander, Shopian, who is active from 2015), Abu Maaz (district commander, Kulgam), Ashraf Molvi (district commander, Anantnag), Abu Umair Al Hizbi (district commander, Baramulla) and Abu Hamza (district commander, Kupwara).
Naved Jatt, alias Abu Hanzalla of Lashkar-e-Toiba, who is also their district commander in Pulwama, is on top of the security forces’ list. Others on the list from terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba are Mushtaq Mir (District Commander, Shopian), Saleem Billu (District Commander, Bandipora), Abu Zaid (District Commander, Kulgam), Idress Bhat (District Commander, Anantnag) and Abu Zargam (District Commander, Baramulla).
Arjumand Gulzar, alias Faisal of Pakistan's ISI-sponsored terror outfit Al Badr is also on the hit list.
Jaish-e-Mohammad's district commander in Pulwama Zahid Bhat and Shopian Shahijahan are also in the eye of the storm.
Zakir Rashid Bhat, alias Zakir Moosa of the Al-Qaeda-backed terror group Ansar Gazwat-ul-Hind is also on track of the security agencies.
