A senior police official told NyNation that two terrorists have been killed in the ongoing encounter and their bodies have been recovered
Bandipora: Two terrorists have been killed in an encounter in Shokbaba area of Sumlar in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The body of the second terrorist killed in the encounter has been recovered on Friday morning, whereas the body of the first killed terrorist was found late Thursday afternoon.
The police have confirmed killing two terrorists in the ongoing encounter. A senior police official told NyNation that two terrorists have been killed in the ongoing encounter and their bodies have been recovered.
The encounter between the security forces and terrorists started when forces launched a massive cordon and search operation in the area, following which terrorists fired upon the security forces, triggering an encounter in the area.
In this joint operation of 14 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police, at least two terrorists are believed to be trapped.
Additional reinforcements were rushed to the spot and the troops laid a siege around the house in which terrorists were holed up.
