Anantnag, Kashmir: Stone-pelting attack on police vehicles after Eid prayers (Video)

Protests erupted after the security forces were attacked with stones by a large number of youths immediately after the Eid prayers in the Janglaat Mandi town in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident occurred immediately after the morning prayers. The protesters also shouted anti-India slogans and as they attacked the security personnel on duty.

An old man identified as Abdul Rehman was injured during the clashes. The police and security forces had to use tear gas shells to disperse the violent crowd. Protests are going on in the area.
