Two soldiers were injured in the fight that broke out when terrorists attacked a CRPF camp in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar: Terrorists attacked a CRPF camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama on Monday night. According to an official, the terrorist attacked the sentry post of the CRPF camp in Kakapura. Two soldiers have been injured in the fight.
"Terrorists late evening fired upon a security forces' camp at Newa in District Pulwama in south Kashmir," a police spokesman said.
The attack was repulsed by the forces, he said.
The two injured have been identified as Amit Kumar and Santosh Bharti of 183 BN CRPF. They suffered from bullet injuries and have been taken to the district hospital in Pulwama.
This attack comes days after a Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist was killed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kangan.
The area was cordoned off after the attack. The police have registered a case and investigation has been initiated in the matter.
