Rajouri: The Pakistan Army on Tuesday night targeted an Indian Army jawan with sniper and injured him from across the border, along the Line of Control.

A senior police official told MyNation that the Pakistan Army violated ceasefire and targeted Indian Army’s 33 RR deployed at the Kalal area along the LoC in Nowshera sector. “Jawan was hit by the sniper fire from across the border," he added.
The injured jawan, identified as Naik Subash Chandra, was immediately airlifted to Army’s command hospital in Udhampur for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
Following the incident, firing from both sides triggered in the area and it continued till 11.30 pm.
