Independence Day: Indian tricolour hoisted in Sydney for the first time in open (Video)

The Indian tricolour was hoisted for the first time in the open in Sydney, Australia on India's 72nd Independence Day. Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji had unfurled the tricolour in Melbourne on August 11, 2018, at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Thousands of Indians residing in Australia attended the flag hoisting and sang India's national anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' with pride.
