New Delhi: Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Thursday said that his controversial tweet about ‘small men occupying big offices’ did not refer to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Consensus for peace has developed... do not mistake this for desperation for peace," Khan said. He did not specify whom he was referring to in his social media post.

"Disappointed at the arrogant and negative response by India to my call for the resumption of the peace dialogue. However, all my life I have come across small men occupying big offices who do not have the vision to see the larger picture," Khan had written.

External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj said, “A dialogue between India and Pakistan is not connected with only the Kartarpur corridor. The moment Pakistan stops terrorist activities in India, the dialogue can start".
"It is not in our interest to allow the use of Pakistan's territory for terror outside," Khan said during an interaction with a group of Indian journalists in Islamabad.
Khan said that people in Pakistan want peace with India and he will be happy to meet Indian Prime Minister Modi and talk to him.
