Bengaluru: Heavy rains, along with strong winds, hit the city of Bengaluru until the wee hours of Monday. Bengaluru witnessed flooded roads while trees were uprooted as rainfall ranging from 12 cm to 20 cm was recorded in the late hours of Monday. Rainfall could stay in the city for the next two days, according to the weather forecast. Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy also warned people living in the low-lying areas to be cautious. He said that he had asked the authorities of the city municipality to take adequate measures in view of the weather department’s prediction.
