Former gangster Muthappa Rai has been asked to be present in the Bengaluru police station within 24 hours, along with documents for all the weapons that were kept for Ayudha Puja.
The photo of former gangster, philanthropist, Muthappa Rai performing Ayudha Puja with guns, pistols and dagger in Mysuru, Karnataka went viral yesterday. Noticing this, the City Crime Branch (CCB) has issued a notice to Muthappa Rai.
Accordingly, Muthappa Rai has been asked to be present in the Bengaluru police station, within 24 hours, along with documents for all the weapons that were kept for Ayudha Puja.
Muthappa Rai is also the founder of Jaya Karnataka organisation. He had kept four revolvers, three guns and one dagger on a carpet in an open space in Mysuru and had performed the puja.
