Fire breaks out at Kanjikode paint factory in Palakkad; two injured

Palakkad: A fire broke out at a paint factory at Kanjikode in Palakkad district. This incident occurred at around 11:30am on Thursday. Six fire force engines from Kanjikode rushed to the spot. Two people were injured in the incident and have been hospitalised. 

The paint factory was completely gutted in the fire which also engulfed two vehicles parked in the factory premises. Over 40 firefighters have been used to douse the flames.
