ED bribery case: Janardhan Reddy appears before police in Bengaluru

Former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy reached City Crime Branch (CCB) office to record his statements in alleged bribe case concerning Enforcement Directorate officials. Recently, CCB had named Reddy in their press meet. The officials said that Reddy and his man Ali Khan were named by Ambidant Marketing owner Syed Ahmed Fareed to quash the case. Ambidant was allegedly involved in Ponzi scam. Reddy has been accused of taking 57kg of gold from Fareed, promising to pay unscrupulous ED officers to let him go scot-free. Reddy reportedly has been evading the police for four days.
