Durga Puja: Kolkata college sees student unions join hands to help underprivileged kids (Video)

Kolkata: Maharaja Manindra Chandra College has a violent political history. TMC, CPM and Congress student unions use force and means of violence to strengthen their position. But when it comes to helping these kids on the occasion of Durga Puja, the TMCP, SFI, ABVP work together. Every Panchami, they take these underprivileged kids on a Puja tour across Kolkata and gift them new clothes. It has become an annual ritual. MyNation accompanied them this time. On its 8th year, 70 kids were gifted a day of happiness. This initiative is a crowdfunding of all student unions to bring a smile on the faces of such kids.
