While NDTV masqueraded as a heavy-engineering expert to question railway minister Piyush Goyal’s statement on the timely inauguration of Bharat Vande Express, Congress spokesperson Divya Spandana seized the opportunity by quoting the dubious report to cock a snook at the Narendra Modi government. Activist-lawyer, on the other hand, furthered his anti-India credo by suggesting that the actions of the security forces provoke Kashmiris into turning terrorists.
New Delhi: While the country mourns the ‘kranti veers’ of CRPF who laid down their lives for the nation in Pulwama, as the terror attack jolted the conscience of the Indian people, the ‘tukde-tukde’ gang has not shied away from their anti-India shenanigans.
NDTV ran a dubious report on the temporary glitch in the Vande Bharat Express near Tundla while it was returning to Delhi from Varanasi on Friday night after a cattle run-over, much to the delight of Congress social media head Divya Spandana.
“This was supposed to be India’s answer to #PulwamaTerrorAttack according to @PiyushGoyal,” Spandana tweeted, quoting the NDTV report.

— Divya Spandana/Ramya (@divyaspandana)While NDTV was quick to invoke its ‘expertise in heavy engineering’, citing that “there were no signs of damage on the front of the train” when the train arrived in Delhi, Spandana could not desist from giving the train launch a political spin as well as using the Pulwama terrorist attack for politics.
Spandana jumped on the statement of the railway minister who had said that the programme for the flagging off of the train by the PM Modi the day after the Pulwama terrorist attack was to show the resilience of India.
Meanwhile, Prashant Bhushan too jumped in the fray to defend the slain suicide bomber or ‘fidayeen’ Adil Ahmed Dar, a Jaish-e-Mohammed operative, who killed the CRPF jawans and who had in a confessional video recorded before the attack had called Indians “drinkers of cow urine”.
In this hour of grief for the security forces who lost their brethren in the most horrific way imaginable, Bhushan attacked the security forces themselves. He held the security forces responsible for making Dar into a terrorist!
“Pulwama bomber Adil Ahmad Dar became terrorist after he was beaten by troops. It's imp to understand why so many young men in Kashmir are becoming militants & willing to die. Even US forces couldn't hold Afghanistan & Iraq after large-scale suicide attacks,” he tweeted.
Bhushan, therefore, suggested that India was perhaps on the verge of losing Kashmir.
