Indian Army on Monday lost one of its brave hearts when Pakistan Rangers initiated an unprovoked sniper fire at Tanghdar sector along the Line of Control in Kupwara district.
Army sources told MyNation that Pakistan Rangers in an unprovoked ceasefire violation opened sniper fire upon an Indian Army post along the LoC in Tanghdar sector.
In this coward mischief of Pakistan Rangers, an Indian soldier was injured and airlifted to army’s 92-base hospital at Badamibagh. The soldier later succumbed to injuries at around 3:30 PM.
The deceased soldier has been identified as Sepoy Pushpendra Singh of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. 27-year-old, Pushpendra Singh is survived by his wife, Sudha and his parents.
