Bus-truck collision claims 6 lives leaving 10 injured in Karnataka

Dharwad: Six people lost their lives leaving ten injured after a truck collided with a private bus near Karnataka's Dharwad district around 6 AM on Saturday. The truck rammed into a private bus carrying tourists near Koliwada Cross in Annigeri. The deceased are identified as Vishwanath (76), Dinakar (70), Lahu (65) Sutitra (65), Sumedha (60) and Ramesh (56) who were residents of Mumbai. The ten injured persons have been rushed to the KIMS Hospital in Hubballi and are undergoing medical treatment. A case has been registered in Dharwad's Annigeri police station.
