BS Yeddyurappa audio tape row: Why Karnataka BJP doesn’t want SIT investigation

Bengaluru: The BJP has been opposing the Speaker Ramesh Kumar’s suggestion of handing over the investigation of audio tapes involving former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa and the son of a JD(S) MLA Sharangouda, to the Special Investigation Team (SIT). One of the most important reasons is that it smells a lot of nepotism and manipulation.
