Kozhikode: Bombs were hurled at the houses of the BJP workers in Perambra on Thursday. The homes of Vijesh and Narayanan were attacked.
A hartal was observed at Panthirikara on Wednesday, called by the CPM against the BJP atrocities in Kozhikode. After the hartal, this bomb attack was reported.

There were incidents of violence involving the BJP and CPM activists in Perambra area on the hartal day.
A bomb was hurled at the CPM leader and panchayat member KP Jayesh’s house a couple of days ago. There were no casualties.
The police have registered a case and are investigating. A panic situation is prevailing in the area after the hartal observed by the Sabarimala Karma Samithi.
Earlier, the bombs were hurled at the houses of the CPI(M) and BJP leaders in Koyilandy, the day various trade unions observed Bharat Bandh. The houses of the CPI(M) leader K Shiju and VK Mukundan, BJP mandalam secretary, were attacked.
The frequent bomb throwing incidents have become a nightmare to the common public.
The Sabarimala Karma Samithi had called for a hartal in Kerala following the entry of two women into the Ayyappa shrine. It was a state-wide dawn-to-dusk hartal on January 3.
The two women, who entered Sabarimala on January 2, were identified as Bindu from Kozhikode and Malappuram’s Kanakadurga.
