Bodies of three Telangana teens who died in fire accident in the US arrive in Hyderabad

The deceased siblings, Suhan Naik (15), Sathwika Naik (16) and Jaya Suchith (14), were studying in the US. On December 24, 2018, they attended a Christmas party at a resident's house, which caught fire.

Hyderabad: On Friday, the corpse of three teenage siblings, who died in a fire accident in the US on December 24, 2018, arrived in Hyderabad for burial. The corpses of deceased siblings, Suhan Naik (15), Sathwika Naik (16) and Jaya Suchith (14) were flown into Hyderabad through the British Airways flight, and were later shifted to the Baptist Church in Narayanaguda for a prayer meeting.

The corpses will be taken to Gurrapu Thanda village, Devarakonda in Nalgonda district for the burial scheduled on January 19.

Speaking to the reporters, the father of the siblings, Srinivas Naik, said, "We lost our three children in the fire accident in Collierville, US. We have faith in our God, who is giving us the strength to do these formalities. Prayers of many people have helped and I would like to thank the central and state governments for supporting us in bringing back the bodies of our children."

The Collierville Bible church said, "The Coudriet family was hosting and celebrating Christmas with the three teenagers. They were here attending an academy programme in the US. The Naik family is from Missionaries in India that our church supports."

Cole, Kari and Danny from the Coudriet family and Sharron, Joy and Aaron from the Indian family, who are natives of Nalgonda district, were present at the house when the fire broke out. Cole and Danny made it out while Kari and other three teenagers were unable to make it.
