New Delhi: The BJP has come up with an apt reply to Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday over the controversial Rafale deal.
Gandhi took to Twitter to tweet a series of questions for Modi ahead of today’s debate on the Rafale deal in the Parliament.
Tomorrow, the PM faces an Open Book Exam in Parliament.
Here are the exam questions in advance:
Q1. Why 36 aircraft, instead of the 126 the IAF needed?
Q2. Why 1,600 Cr instead of 560 Cr per aircraft.
Q4. Why AA instead of HAL?
Will he show up? Or send a proxy?
The Missing Q3!
I had held back Q3 because Madam Speaker had said, “no talking about the Goa tape”! But the missing Q3 has become as controversial as Rafale:) So on popular demand:
Q3. Modi Ji, please tell us why Parrikar Ji keeps a Rafale file in his bedroom & what’s in it? https://t.co/6WdiN487HJ

Over Rafale, Government had passed exam with distinction. It's time for you to sit in exam with Mama Mrs. Gandhi and Uncle Christian Michel in an exam. AK Anthony agreed in Parliament that bribes were paid in AgustaWestland deal. Time for you reveal who got how much of the loot! https://t.co/ZkdTa2twvK
— GVL Narasimha Rao (@GVLNRAO)AgustaWestland kickback case took a decisive turn on December 29 when the Enforcement Directorate told the Patiala House Court that British middleman Christian Michel had taken the name of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi during his interrogation.
The ED also sought eight days more custody of Michel for further interrogation and to delve into such phrases as “…son of Italian lady…he will become the next PM of India…”
On January 3, Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Modi during a discussion on Rafael issue in Lok Sabha but was soon shut down by finance minister Arun Jaitley, who accused Gandhi of "lying and repeating falsehood" on the Rafale issue and claimed that "conspirators" in past defence scams are now raising fingers at the Narendra Modi government.
"We are all utterly disappointed because every word he has said has been denied by the Supreme Court. When the Supreme Court speaks on an issue, it is the last word," he added.
