Mysuru: After Infosys declared financial help to the kin of war heroes, Rs 10 lakh per family, it entrusted BJP MP from Mysuru, Karnataka, Pratap Simha, with the task of identifying the families that were deserving. On Monday (October 15) the MP insulted those who approached him to establish their eligibility for the promised aid. When these families of war heroes tried to reach Infosys Foundation chairperson Sudha Murthy for the promised financial help via Simha, the MP insulted them, saying, “Don’t do drama!” Reportedly, some members of the visitors broke down, unable to bear with the insult. The MP instructed these families to sit quietly in a corner. Eventually, families of heroes like Ramesh of Mysuru sub-division, Mahesh of HD Kote, Nagesh, Yoganand, Sandeep and Sagar of Hassan, were handed over cheques of the promised amount.
