Bharat bandh: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu shut down to protest increase in petrol, diesel prices

Congress has called for Bharat Bandh today protesting against petrol and diesel prices. In Karnataka’s Mangaluru, protestors started fires in the middle of several roads to stop vehicular movement. A tourist bus was also vandalised. Police personnel have been deployed in Mysuru. People in Tamil Nadu's Villupuram are stranded with no buses to ferry passengers.
