Bengaluru doctor kills mother and sister, attempts suicide

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a doctor killed his mother and sister by injecting a high dose of insulin before attempting suicide on Saturday. The suspect is identified as Dr Govinda Prakash, a resident of Bengaluru's Rajarajeshwari Nagar. He was upset as he was not married and his sister was ill from a couple of years. The three decided to commit suicide. After giving high dosages to his mother and sister, Prakash injected himself with the same, but survived. However, he is in critical condition. He was taken to the nearby hospital. He is in a coma. A case has been registered at Rajarajeshwari police station and further reports awaited.
