Bandipur forest reserve: Kumaraswamy govt busy fighting fires as BJP calls for action

Major fire broke out in the Bandipur forest area on Thursday. It continued to spread on Saturday as fire fighting officials jumped to action. The fire is so massive that officials say they need two more days to contain the fire. While Karnataka chief minister said that things will soon be under control with the Union government sending four helicopters, the BJP has said that precautionary measures weren't taken this year to avert this disaster.
