Boat carrying BJP leaders capsizes during Atal Kalash Yatra; here's what happened next (Video)

Basti, Uttar Pradesh: During the immersion of the ashes of ex-prime minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Uttar Pradesh, the boat carrying his ashes capsized, and everyone who was on board fell into the river.

During the incident, several BJP leaders – UP minister of state for Housing, Vocational Education and Skill Development Suresh Pasi, former BJP president Ramapati Ram Tripathi, MP Harish Dwivedi, four MLAs and SP Dilip Kumar –  were present on the boat. A total of 17 people were on board.

Panic broke out after the boat overturned due to imbalance. The security personnel on board, the police and the BJP workers pulled everyone out of the water.
