During an investigation, Imran told the police that he found the bullet in the donation box of a mosque. He had kept it in his wallet but he later 'forgot about it'
New Delhi: The Delhi police on Monday arrested a man after a live bullet was recovered from his possession when he went to meet Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal.
The man, identified as Mohammad Imran, is a caretaker of a mosque in Karol Bagh and resident of Seelampur locality,
He was booked under the Arms Act after a bullet was recovered from him during a security check at Kejriwal's residence.
He was among the Muslim clerics who had gone to the CM with a request to increase the salary by Waqf Board, reported ANI.

— ANI (@ANI)During an investigation, Imran said he was a maujjin at Masjid Bawli Wali in Karol Bagh and two to three months ago, he found a cartridge in the mosque's donation box. He said he had planed to throw it in the Yamuna river but did not do so and kept it in his purse, an officer said.
This is not the first time the chief minister has been attacked.
Monday's incident comes shortly after a man tried to attack Kejriwal with chilli powder last week.
The accused, Sharma, had chilli powder in his hand, which he tried to throw at Kejriwal. The Aam Aadmi Party leader’s glasses also broke in the scuffle. He was later detained by the Delhi Police.
In 2016, a woman threw ink at Kejriwal while he was addressing a gathering at Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium.
In 2014, Kejriwal was slapped by an aunt driver while campaigning in Sultanpuri, north-west Delhi.
In 2011, he was attacked with a slipper by a youth, while the AAP member was going to attend a programme in Lucknow.
