Andhra Pradesh schoolboys made to stand naked for being late

Chittoor: On December 26, six students from a private school at Punganur in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district were forced to stand naked as a punishment for being late to school. In a video, six boys aged between nine and 10 years are seen standing naked outside their classrooms. The principal, Maharaja Naidu who also owns the school, is now on the run after the video went viral on social media. A complaint has been filed with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) by Balala Hakula Sangham under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
