Hitting out at the ruling coalition in the state, BJP president Amit Shah urged workers to help the BJP win more seats. Else, he warned that the nation would see a redux of the Karnataka political imbroglio.
Bengaluru: Addressing booth level workers, BJP president Amit Shah took pot shots at the coalition government in Karnataka. Mocking HD Kumaraswamy's ineptitude to run the administration effectively, Amit Shah recalled how Kumaraswamy had compared himself to a clerk and how former CM Siddaramaiah is the 'super CM' always calling the shots. Terming the coalition 'unholy' and 'opportunistic' Amit Shah said Kumaraswamy owes his allegiance to 'Sonia amma' and Rahul Gandhi and not to the citizens of Karnataka.
Using the political impasse in the state as a case study, Amit Shah said that the mahagathbandhan will only be a mirror image of what's going terribly wrong in the state, if voted to power. Moreover, he added that the tall leaders (including HD Deve Gowda) who make up the mahagathbandhan are all aspirants for the post of PM and will fail horribly to deliver good governance.
Delving on the schemes formulated by Modi, including NRC in states like Asom, Shah added that leaders of the mahagathbandhan did not want illegal entrants in the country to be repatriated as they see them as mere vote banks, and therefore, these leaders, with former UP CM Mayawati are hoping for a 'majboor' sarkaar instead of a 'majboot' sarkaar.
Lastly, Amit Shah urged the booth level workers to stay united and help win more than 20 seats, thereby helping Modi ascend once again, to become the Prime Minister.
