BJP President Amit Shah said that the land of Swami Vivekananda and Ram Krishna is “crying for a poriborton (change)” and also promised to uproot TMC from Bengal

BJP President Amit Shah, on Saturday, lashed out at the Trinamool Congress during the much anticipated rally at Mayo Road in Kolkata over political violence and arms factories.

Shah roared, “Previously Rabindra Sangeet and Chaitanya bhajans used to be heard in Bengal. Now sound of bomb blasts has replaced that. Everyday an illegal arms factory or a bomb making unit is being busted.”

He said that the land of Swami Vivekananda and Ram Krishna is “crying for a poriborton (change)”. Shah also promised to uproot TMC from Bengal.

Though only time will tell if BJP manages to take over Bengal or not, but it is an unfortunate truth that the state has become a popular hub of illegal arms.
