Ambareesh no more: Public can pay homage in Mandya at Visvesvaraya Stadium

Owing to the demand of the people of Mandya, the Karnataka government has decided to make arrangements for the public to pay their respects to Mandyada Gandu, Ambareesh in their hometown. The body will be kept at Kanteerava Studio in Bengaluru till 4 PM on Sunday and will be airlifted to Mandya. Arrangements are underway at Visvesvaraya Stadium in Mandya for the public to pay their respects. The body will be kept there from 4.30 PM (on Sunday) to 6 AM. The Defence Ministry has given permission to use an Army helicopter for airlift the body from Bengaluru to Mandya. Then, the body will be brought again to Kanteerava Studio, Bengaluru, where the final rites will be performed near Dr Rajkumar memorial.
