Bengaluru: Veteran south Indian actor and Congress leader Ambareesh breathed his last at Bengaluru's Vikram Hospital on Saturday night (November 24). Actors from Sandalwood, Tollywood, Kollywood and Mollywood arrived at Kanteerava Stadium to pay their last respects to their dear friend.
Ambareesh was a well known actor and acted in five languages in the south in more than 200 films. His wife Sumalatha is also a very popular actress in the south.
Kannada actors Shivarajkumar, Sudeep, Yash, Puneeth Rajkumar, Prakash Raj, Chiranjeevi Sarja, Dhruva Sarja, Malashree, Sudharani, Lakshmi, Ramesh, Duniya Vijay, Avinash, Malavika, Sanjjanaa Galrani, Nikhil Kumaraswamy and others paid their last respects.
Also, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi with his wife, Mohanbabu with his son, Sarathkumar and Radhika Sarathkumar, also paid homage to the Rebel Star.
