ADR report says Karnataka Congress MLA richest, with income of Rs 157.04 crore pa

The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) has released a deeply researched and surveyed report, which highlights the incomes of MLAs in the country. What is shocking though is that the richest of them all is a Congress MLA, belongs to Karnataka. The rest of the list is also dominated by MLAs in power in the South, with the list of top 10 richest MLAs consisting of 6 MLAs from either Telangana, Tamil Nadu or Karnataka. The list highlights the basis of this income, which changes according to the individual's gender, age and qualification.
