Tamil Nadu: 7 Sabarimala pilgrims succumb to injuries after van collides with truck

Pudukkottai: In a tragic turn of events, seven Sabarimala pilgrims succumbed to injuries after their van collided with a container truck in Tamil Nadu's Pudukkottai. According to the police officials, the deceased who are yet to be identified were pilgrims returning to Andhra Pradesh after their visit to Sabarimala shrine.

Thirumayam police officials rushed to the place and the injured victims were shifted to Thirumayam government hospital where they were declared dead. Further reports are awaited.
