1,000 kg dog meat despatched from Rajasthan seized in Chennai

Chennai: The Chennai police have seized boxes filled with dog meat at Egmore Railway Station in Chennai. They have seized 1,000 kg dog meat and the cops said that the meat was being supplied from Jodhpur in Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the man who was in charge of supplying it to Chennai restaurants said that it was not dog meat, but the cops were trying to demand more money and when the supplier refused, they declared it as dog meat, without even sending it for examination.
