Bhopal: MyNation spent the whole of Sunday with the karyakartas (workers) of the BJP and Congress and found that the ruling party cadre were spirited while workers of the opposition were relying desperately on anti-incumbency.
In the course of the survey, while the media head of MLA and state minister Vishwas Sarang sounded upbeat about the chances of his boss and the party retaining power, the challenger from the Congress Mahendra Singh Chouhan hurled wild allegations of impropriety against the sitting MLA.
Even in a Muslim-dominated constituency where the Congress has held its fort for the past two terms, thanks to its MLA Arif Vakil from Bhopal North, the supporters of the BJP candidate (also a Muslim), mostly RSS's swayamsevaks, were confident of their party's victory in the rest of the state.
