The numerous architectural wonders that we have works as a reminder to the of the layered past that we sit upon. Each monument has it's own unique story, whether it's a tale of Love, a historical symbol or a memoir of the bygone days. These landmark places transport us back in time and give us a sense of belonging to a rich culture.

The Taj Mahal, Tagore called it 'A tear-drop' on the cheek of time, is a monument of dedicated to eternal love. The white marble architecture stands as a testimony to a husband's yearning for his dead wife. The pathos one feels standing in front of the structure is something that cannot be described in words.

The Hawa Mahal in Jaipur, the pink structure gives us a glimpse into the intricate lives of Rajput aristocrat women of the era. The palace offers a glimpse into the royal city's daily life.

The Victoria Memorial in Kolkata stands as a testament to our colonial past. The Indo-Saracenic architecture was built as a tribute to Queen Victoria, the then queen of England and British India. The huge structure today, in the middle of the city serves as a parasdise for young lovers. 

The iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in Mumbai famous as the CSMT station stands as a bustling landmark, symbolizing the city's constant motion. The Gothic architecture is lighted up every evening. The illuminated structure symbolizes the vibrancy of Mumbai city.

The Brihadeeswarar temple in Thanjavur, dedicated to Lord Shiva is an epitome of the Dravidian architecture.
