Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana
Former CM Ashok Gehlot launched the Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana in 2016-17. Under this scheme, daughters in Rajasthan receive Rs. 50,000 for their education from birth to class 12. The financial benefits are provided in six instalments.
Who can apply?
• Applicants must be residents of Rajasthan.
• Daughters born after June 1, 2016, are eligible.
• Families with more than two daughters cannot apply for the scheme.
• Daughter's name must be registered under the Janani Suraksha Yojana.
• The family should not have any member paying income tax or employed in a government job to qualify.
Documents needed for Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana include:
• Daughter's birth certificate
• Parents' Aadhaar card
• Residence, income, and caste certificates
• Parents' Bhamashah card
• Daughter's passport size photograph
Application Process
Applications for Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana can be submitted online or offline. To apply online, visit jankalyan.rajasthan.gov.in, register, and fill in personal details along with the daughter's birth certificate number, Bhamashah card, and Aadhaar number. Submit the application.
Benefits
Under this Mukhyamantri Rajshri Yojana, financial assistance is provided in six instalments:
• Rs. 2,500 on birth
• Rs. 2,000 on the first birthday (upon vaccination)
• Rs. 4,000 upon admission to a government school
• Rs. 6,000 in class 6
• Rs. 11,000 upon admission to class 10
• Rs. 25,000 on passing class 12
