Rice and masoor dal, commonly used in cooking, also serve as excellent exfoliants for the skin, leaving it glowing. Here are six face pack recipes using these ingredients.

With curd

Grind 2 tablespoons each of soaked rice and masoor dal into a fine powder. Mix in some curd to create a smooth paste. Apply the paste to your face and neck, avoiding the eyes. Gently scrub in circular motions for a few minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water after 15-20 minutes.

With milk

Mix rice flour and masoor dal powder in a bowl. Add honey and enough milk to form a thick paste. Apply the mixture to your face and neck and leave it on for 20 minutes. This pack helps brighten the skin.

Aloe vera gel

Mix 2 tablespoons each of rice flour and masoor dal powder in a bowl. Add lemon juice and aloe vera gel to create a paste. Apply the mixture to your face and neck, leave it on for 15-20 minutes, and then rinse off with cold water.

Turmeric

Mix equal parts of rice flour and masoor dal powder with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder in a bowl. Add rose water to form a paste. Apply the paste to your face and neck, leave it on for 20 minutes, and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Banana

Mix rice flour and masoor dal powder in a bowl. Add the mashed flesh of half a banana and a bit of olive oil to create a paste. Apply the mixture to your face and neck to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Cucumber and honey

Mix 2 tablespoons each of rice flour and masoor dal powder in a bowl. Add cucumber juice and honey to create a paste. Apply the paste to your face and neck, then rinse off with cold water after 15-20 minutes. This face pack helps hydrate the skin.
