Our brand debuted in December 2016 and was the result of a year spent constructing mood boards in my bedroom and speaking with women of all religions and none on the high street about the challenges they faced when swimming or visiting the beach. The LYRA brand has all the beauty of vintage Hollywood, Moroccan beach cool, and minimalist style. It was inspired by some of my favorite designs and adjusted to the level of cover I wanted to accomplish.

Ever since the very beginning, LYRA has shown its creations during London Modest Fashion Week and plans to increase its selection of stylish, versatile sportswear for modern women. The LYRA brand recognizes that each woman is unique and has a sense of what she feels comfortable wearing, but it doesn't want to forgo looking and feeling beautiful while swimming, resting by the pool, or engaging in other outdoor activities. LYRA aims to represent the values and ideas of women from various backgrounds. From conception to delivery, the development of an LYRA swimsuit is a difficult nine-month procedure. From the LYRA studios in London through the fabric mills in Bergamo, Northern Italy, and finally to a family-owned factory in Istanbul, the voyage takes us.
