RRB Recruitment 2024: Vacancies open for 11,558 NTPC posts; Check date, eligibility and more

RRB NTPC 2024:  The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the 2024 recruitment drive for 11,558 posts under the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) of Indian Railways. This recruitment includes 8,113 graduate posts and 3,445 undergraduate posts. According to the notice issued by the Ministry of Railways, all applications will be accepted only through online mode.

Educational qualification and age limit

• For undergraduate posts, the candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent certificate from a recognized board. The age limit is 18 to 33 years.
• For graduate posts, candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university and the age limit is set at 18 to 36 years.
• Note that there is a relaxation of 3 years in the age limit due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

When to apply?

• The application process for graduate posts will start from 14 September 2024 and the last date is 13 October 2024.
• The application process for undergraduate posts will start from 21 September 2024 and end on 20 October 2024.
• Interested candidates can apply as per their eligibility by visiting the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board.

Candidates must first visit the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board of their region and carefully read the NTPC 2024 notification. After this, they have to register and provide their basic details, fill the application form with accurate information and upload the required documents. Finally, the application has to be submitted by paying the fee and reviewing all the details.

What is the fee for RRB NTPC?

The examination fee for General Category candidates is Rs 500, while for Reserved Category such as PWD, Women, Transgender, Ex-Servicemen, SC/ST, Minority Community and Economically Backward Class, this fee is Rs 250.
