The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has commenced the registration process for the Company Secretary Examination scheduled for December 2024. Interested and eligible candidates can apply without any late fees until September 25, 2024.
What is the last date to apply with a late fee, as per ICSI?
Applications with a late fee can be submitted until October 10, 2024. The last date to apply for an exemption based on higher qualifications is also October 10, 2024. Candidates can apply for nomination services such as changing exam centers, modules, mediums, optional subjects, cancelling exemption requests, or resubmitting documents for exemptions based on higher qualifications until November 20, 2024.
Exam Fees and Payment Information
The exam fee is Rs 1,500 per module or group for the Executive Programme and Rs 1,800 per module or group for the Professional Programme. ICSI has clarified that all exam applications without a valid fee receipt will be rejected without notice.
If, for any reason, the amount is deducted from the bank/debit/credit card account but the acknowledgment is not generated automatically, students will have to confirm the payment status from their bank.
What are the conditions for Pre-Examination Test and ODOP?
The Pre-Examination Test for enrollment in the exam session (Executive and Professional) must be completed by 5:30 PM one working day before the cut-off date of that exam nomination session. This condition applies to students registered on or after June 1, 2019, and is required for nomination in the Main Exams under the 2017/2022 syllabus.
