While there is much awareness about avoiding the use of harmful Holi colours, but you will encounter situations where people would continue using chemical-based colours. 1. Cucumber juice and vinegar paste

Cucumber juice can help you remove stubborn Holi colours effectively. Prepare a paste by combining cucumber juice with rose water and a spoonful of vinegar in a bowl. Apply this paste to your face and allow it to sit for approximately 10 minutes before rinsing it off. This paste will dissolve solid colours, leaving your skin moisturized.

2. Radish, milk and besan paste

Radish proves to be a powerful ingredient in removing solid colours. Extract the juice from a radish and add milk and gram flour (besan) to it, creating a paste. Apply this paste to your face and allow it to dry. Then, gently rinse it off. Regular use of this paste can also help cleanse the skin and remove dark spots.

You must have heard of this remedy from your Nani and Dadi. It is also effective in removing Holi colours with ease. Create a paste by mixing milk, lemon juice, and gram flour. Apply this paste to your skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

4. Orange peel, dal, and almond paste

If you have acne on your skin, then you must be gentler with how you remove the colours. Make a paste by grinding together orange peels, dal (lentils), and almonds with milk. Apply this paste to your face and gently massage it. Leave it for ten minutes and rinse it off with cold water.
