Google includes Mary Kom, 13 other achievers in doodle for International Women's Day

On March 8 every year, International Womens Day is celebrated. Keeping this day in mind, a beautiful and inspiring doodle with quotes of the achievements of 14 women across the world has been created by Google. 
 

New Delhi: International Women's Day is being celebrated all over the world including India. Google also created a very special and engaging doodle in respect of women across the world. This Google doodle created in Slide Form tells about 14 successful women from around the world and their special achievements. The most important thing is that among these 14 successful women, there is an Indian woman named Mary Kom.

On March 8 every year, International Womens Day is celebrated. Keeping this day in mind, a beautiful and inspiring doodle with quotes of the achievements of 14 women across the world has been created by Google. 

The particular thing about this doodle is that it is in a sludge form, after clicking on it, opens a separate slide and in each slide, one woman is mentioned with inspirational quotes and a writing on her achievements. Different languages have been used for everyone.

It is also a matter of great pride for India as Google has included the name of Indian boxer Mary Kom. The option to share this doodle on social media has also been given.

As soon as one clicks the doodle slide, one gets to see quotes in different languages of the world. You will also be able to read the names of the women who have spoken those quotes. Mary Kom was quoted saying, "Do not say that you are weak because you are a woman." These inspiring quotes have been designed by a group of talented women from around the world. 

The main purpose of celebrating International Women's Day is to raise voice for women's equality and their rights. On this day, women from all over the world are remembered who have made significant contributions in the development of society, country and welfare. It is said that women are a special creation of God, who are in turn the creators of the world.  

Women's Day is celebrated in almost all developed and developing countries. The United Nations, in 1975, had declared March 8 as International Women's Day. Every year, the UN displays a theme for women and this year's theme is #BalanceForBetter.
