Queen Bey chose desi designer wear instead of her go-to favourites Balmain, Givenchy or Kenzo

Udaipur: Three days into the New Year 2019, we are still reeling from the OTT extravaganza that was Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's wedding.

The daughter of billionaire Mukesh Ambani and the son of billionaire industrialist Ajay Piramal tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Mumbai that was preceded by grand pre-wedding festivities in Udaipur. American pop singer Beyonce also performed at their sangeet ceremony since the bride is a huge fan of Queen Bey.

The singer performed her classics including Crazy in Love, Green Light and So In Love but we cannot get over her on-stage outfits.

In fact, instead of her usual Balmain or Givenchy designer wear, the singer opted for three Indian designers for the honour. Here is a closer look at the outfits. What do you think about her desi designer wear?

However, this isn't the singer's first brush with Indian couture. For her music video with British band Coldplay for Hymn for the Weekend (2016), Beyonce also rocked a gorgeous floral outfit by designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla accessorised with mehendi on her palms and lots of bangles.
Though the video did attract a lot of criticism for cultural appropriation, you cannot deny that Kween Bey looked good. Maybe that's why she returned to rock their creations once again for the Ambani bash.
