Bengaluru: With less than a month left the nation to go to polls, the BJP is upbeat about its prospects. From holding a plethora of campaigns to reaching out to the ordinary citizens in every possible way, the BJP poll pundits are leaving no stone unturned to maximise their vote gains.

Karnataka BJP leaders, including KS Eshwarappa, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party’s national president Amit Shah on Tuesday to discuss the list of candidates.

On Wednesday morning, Eshwarappa briefed the media on the issues relating to the same and revealed that the BJP would contest all the 28 constituencies in the state, thereby putting an end to the speculations that the party would support the independently contesting Sumalatha from Mandya. He also said that he is confident of doing well in the Lok Sabha elections.

"

The media conference was also attended by another senior leader Anwar Manappadi. He said that the mood in the nation was in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and this would certainly enable them to work better.

The senior leader also made it a point to talk about the infighting that exists in the Congress-JD(S) alliance and this would only help the BJP to garner more votes.

"

The state BJP unit is also planning to hold a number of rallies to be addressed by PM Modi.
