Alwar: Yogendra Saini, a prominent YouTuber from Alwar, Rajasthan, will be attending the Google Product Expert Summit 2023 in London, running until October 19. He runs a YouTube channel with the name 'Technical Yogi' and has a massive following, with hundreds of thousands of followers.
Beginning of the journey
In the year 2016, Yogendra embarked on his YouTube journey with the encouragement from a friend. He focused on creating videos about electronic gadgets. His initial earnings amounted to 8 thousand rupees, but he remained dedicated to his work.
As his enthusiasm grew, his video quality improved, leading him to venture into recording videos at others' residences. However, when he experienced a copyright issue with one of his videos, he searched the internet but found no satisfactory solution. This prompted him to read YouTube's policies himself and he switched to making informative videos.
Gold Play Award
Yogendra Saini has achieved significant milestones on YouTube, being honoured with both the Silver Play Award in 2018 and the Gold Play Award in 2020. In January 2021, he was chosen as a video contributor by YouTube. Despite facing challenges in his early life, Yogendra managed to balance his studies with his work.
Struggles of life
Yogendra was a kid when his father passed away; being the eldest son, he took the responsibility of running the household on his shoulders. Despite these challenges, Yogendra remained resolute and resilient. He initially took up a job of washing dishes at a tea stall, but after a month, when the shopkeeper offered him a daily wage of Rs 10 for his work, Yogendra decided to switch to distributing newspapers.
Working in an oil mill
Every day, Yogendra would ride his bicycle to deliver newspapers, covering a distance of 20 kilometres. Despite the meagre earnings, he persisted in this endeavour. Furthermore, he also took up employment in an oil mill, all while striving to continue his education.
