Background
Pallavi grew up in Bhopal, where she finished her school education before moving to Delhi to pursue her law degree at National Law University. While studying law, she discovered a deep love for music, which inspired her to further her education with a Master's in Music. Today, she is a trained classical vocalist, having honed her skills under the guidance of the late Pandit Siddharam Koravara.
Family's support
Pallavi hails from a highly educated family; her father, Ajay Mishra, is a prominent advocate, while her mother, Dr Renu Mishra, works as a senior scientist. Her older brother, Aditya Mishra, serves as an IPS officer and is currently the Deputy Commissioner of Indore. Throughout her UPSC journey, she received immense support from her family.
In her initial attempt at the UPSC exam, Pallavi encountered several challenges but remained determined to succeed. After failing to clear the mains exam, she took the time to analyze her mistakes and work on them.
