Kajal Srivastav, a resident of Kushinagar has invented a health device that is capable of diagnosing illnesses just by analyzing the pulse of a person. The device is in the form of a wrist band, and it only takes a few minutes to give the health information about a person.

Kushinagar: Kajal Srivastav has invented a new device which can measure the pulse rate of a person quite efficiently. She introduced a modern version of the traditional pulse test used in Ayurveda. Her device is called ‘Nadi Pulse’; it reads and analyzes the pulse to provide health insights.

How does the device work?

The wristband has censors which can quickly assess the health condition of a person. The results from the wristband can make the user aware about a serious illness, helping them to receive timely treatment.

The device calculates the changes in the pulse and provides the analysis on the application. It is a magnificent achievement in the field of medical sciences.

Prices of the device

Kajal Srivastav was inspired by her father, Krishna Mohan Srivastav, who is a doctor. Kajal developed the Nadi Pulse device when she was in her final year of engineering. She earned her degree from GL Bajaj college. She created it only as part of a project but later enhanced all the features to make it an efficient device.

Kajal shares that she will launch the device in the market in 3 to 4 months. The current price is set at Rs 8000. Kajal has a website where the users would need to register to place their orders.

Information about the hospitals

In case of emergencies, the Nadi Pulse device is equipped with offering information about the nearest doctors and hospitals. This feature can be used to save lives in serious danger. Kajal’s project is currently supported by IIT Kanpur.
