The beginnings

In the year 2014, Chinu Kala embarked on her entrepreneurial journey. At a mall located in Bangalore, Chinu opened a small kiosk, selling artificial jewellery and accessories. Her brand has now reached the heights of success. Remarkably, Chinu’s company has sold or one million accessories. 

A comfortable life

From humble beginnings, Chinu Kala has established herself as a successful businesswoman today. She lives in a lavish home in Bangalore and drives a BMW 5 Series luxury car. She continues to dedicate herself to her work, putting in long hours of effort to contribute to the company’s growth. Her goal is to establish Rubans to the forefront of the jewellery market. 

How it all began

Chinu Kala’s journey to success was marked with challenges and obstacles. At the young age of 15, she had to leave her home because of a family dispute. With a small sum of Rs 300, she embarked on her journey. She could not find a proper place to reside and had to spend two nights at the Railway Station in Mumbai. Despite the hardships, she refused to succumb to despair and continued to move forward with much fortitude.

Modelling career

Chinu Kala completed er education up to class 10 from St Aloysius School in Mumbai. To earn a living, she even took up menial jobs like selling coaster sets door-to-door. She got married with Amit in 2004. In the year 2007, Chinu participated in the Gladrags Mrs India Beauty Contest. She emerged as one of the top 10 finalists. In those days, she met her financial needs through her modelling projects.

Company’s valuation

Chinu Kala’s company experienced challenges during the pandemic. Despite the obstacles, she showed immense resilience in adapting to the evolving situation. Today, her company has a valuation of Rs 100 crore.
