Arun Mehra lives with his parents and two siblings in Jammu. He discontinued his BCom studies as he wanted to venture into the business world. He worked at many places, acquired some experience and money to invest in his startups. However, he faced challenges in his entrepreneurial pursuits and experienced financial losses.
Opening a tea stall
Arun Mehra shares the struggles he faced in life. Sadly, one of his friends died by suicide after succumbing to constant failures; this setback left a great impact on Arun’s life. He consulted his friends, and decided to launch a business again, with minimal investment. Within a month, he opened a tea ship and began receiving positive responses.
Rose and chocolate flavours
The interesting part about Arun’s tea shop is that the menu features tea of different flavours. These include popular choices like Rose, Paan, Chocolate, Mint, and several other flavours. Arun wishes to expand his business by opening multiple outlets in different cities.
Impressive monthly income
The rising graph of the tea shop’s success can be assessed from the fact that within a year of launch, Arun open three tea shops in the city. He started with a roadside tea shop in January 2023, and has now expanded to two more outlets. His shop now attracts 70 to 80 customers daily. Priced at Rs 20 per cup, Arun’s tea business now generates a monthly income exceeding Rs 50,000.
Family’s support
Arun Mehra informed his family about the tea shop after ten days of opening it. His father was extremely upset about him venturing into a tea stall business. However, over time, Arun managed to persuade his family members with the success of his venture.
